Electrolytes Without Stevia

Stevia-free means no stevia leaf extract, no Reb A, no Reb M. Most electrolytes that pass are unflavored. If you want flavor without stevia, there are three ways to get it: sugar, monk fruit, or the fruit itself. Here is every label we checked, sorted.

We make Mineral Mist, one of the products below. Every fact about another brand comes from that brand's own label, linked.

Sweet, but not stevia

If you want it sweet, sugar is the sweetener that isn't stevia. Skratch Hydration Sport Drink Mix uses cane sugar and dextrose across its flavors. It's a sport drink mix, where the carbs are part of the job.

Skratch Hydration Sport Drink Mix

Label (Lemon + Lime):

"Cane Sugar, Sodium Citrate, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Calcium Citrate, Magnesium Carbonate, Potassium Citrate, Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)."

400 mg sodium

Our Berry Sweet takes the same route in a smaller way: 2g organic cane sugar, for anyone who finds our other flavors too subtle.

Unflavored: just the minerals

Unflavored means salt water, and some people love exactly that. It's also the easiest way to add minerals to something you already drink.

520 mg sodium · 403 mg potassium · 60 mg magnesium

Looks stevia-free, isn't

These brands make an unflavored version that passes. Their flavored versions don't.

LMNT, flavored

Stevia leaf extract. Citrus Salt lists: "Salt (Sodium Chloride), Citric Acid, Magnesium Malate, Potassium Chloride, Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors, Stevia Leaf Extract."

Redmond Re-Lyte, flavored

Stevia (Reb A) across the flavored versions.

SALTT, flavored

Stevia, per SALTT's own FAQ.

SALTR, flavored

Stevia, listed as "Stevia Reb-M" on some flavors.

Just Ingredients

Most flavors use stevia and monk fruit. Peach, Orange, Watermelon Lime and Rocket Berry use fermented Reb M and monk fruit. Fruit Punch has no stevia and uses monk fruit.

What's Reb M?

A steviol glycoside, one of the sweet compounds in the stevia leaf. It can be made by fermentation, so the label may not say "stevia." It's still stevia's sweetness, so it doesn't make this list.

Why Mineral Mist tastes the way it does

Salty first, fruit second. If your tongue is used to stevia, the first glass tastes like something is missing. It's the stevia. Most people stop noticing within a few days to a week.

A little real sugar, on purpose. Each serving has 2 to 3.8g of sugar from coconut water and fruit. A small amount of glucose helps your body pull sodium and water in together.*

Clumps mean nothing was added. No anti-caking agent, so it can clump in the bag and fruit can settle in your glass. Give it a stir.

In their words

“Exactly what my wife and I have been looking for, for about 2 years. Ever since our old electrolyte powder added monk fruit, we’ve been in search of something with flavor but no added sweeteners. This is salty with a hint of sweetness in the background, which is exactly what we want. Hoping to try other flavors soon!”

James G · August 10, 2026

“I finally found a no-stevia or monkfruit electrolyte powder! It tastes so much more real than the overly fake-sweet ones. It takes a few days to get used to the salty flavor, but I have come to appreciate it and really like it.”

Kathleen S · June 26, 2026

“I’ve tried so many electrolyte powders and they all have stevia, monk fruit, or some weird additives. This is literally just real food. Me and my kids drink it every day, even my picky 4 year old loves the strawberry. We’re obsessed.”

Audrey Belfort · March 23, 2026

“Finally electrolytes without sweetener!! Has a very mild strawberry flavor and not too salty. Two thumbs up!”

Questions

No. We make Mineral Mist. Every fact about another product comes from that brand's own label or product page, linked above, as of September 30, 2026.

Reb M is a steviol glycoside, one of the sweet compounds in the stevia leaf. If a label lists Reb M, we don't count it as stevia-free.

It's a different plant, and its extract is still used as a high-intensity sweetener. We use neither.

The flavored ones do. LMNT Raw Unflavored doesn't.

Nothing in it is there to make it sweet. The sweetness you taste is coconut water and fruit.

Four ingredients: coconut water, sea salt, fruit and inland sea concentrate. Elemental Coconut skips the fruit. Berry Sweet adds 2g organic cane sugar.

Thirty days, money back. Give your tongue a week first.

Three ways to go without stevia

Salt water, sugar, or fruit. If fruit is the one, start with one bag. If it's not for you, you get your money back within thirty days.

$40 for 28 servings.
