Mineral Mist Strawberry Sunrise bag next to a glass of the drink and fresh strawberries

It Says “Natural Flavors.”
It Doesn’t Say What’s Inside.

We made an electrolyte without “natural flavors.” On most labels, those two words can cover a whole flavor formula, and none of its parts have to be itemized.

Our flavor comes from real fruit, named on the label.

Organic strawberry says strawberry. Lemon says lemon.

This might surprise you

“Natural Flavors” Isn’t an Ingredient. It’s a Category.

You flip the package over. You see natural flavors. It sounds like fruit, so it passes your label check.

That’s the problem. Those two words aren’t one ingredient. They’re a legal category.

Here’s what can sit behind them.

One fresh strawberry in front of a workbench crowded with small unlabeled flavor bottles and droppers

A strawberry has one name. A flavor formula can be a blend of many parts, and your label can call all of it two words.

The label saysWhat it can mean
“Natural flavors”Any essential oil, extract, essence or distillate, or a product of roasting, heating or enzymes, as long as the flavor started from a plant or animal source. Two words. No list of parts.1
“…with other natural flavor”Part of that fruit taste came from something other than the fruit named on the front.1
What you don’t seeThe solvents, carriers and preservatives used to make a flavor can go unlisted, as long as they end up at insignificant levels in the finished drink.2
“Natural” vs “artificial”Can be the same molecules. The word tells you where the starting material came from, not what ends up in your glass.3

And “natural” itself? FDA has never formally defined it. There’s a policy, not a definition.4

Now think about your daily habit. One glass a day is 365 glasses a year of a flavor formula you’ve never seen.

You did the work. You flipped the package. The two words just don’t tell you.

So we skip them entirely.

Our strawberry flavor is organic strawberry. Our lemon is organic lemon juice and lemon extract. Every flavor ingredient is on the label by name.

Because you shouldn’t need a decoder to read your electrolyte.

Real fruit doesn’t need a code name.

Trust the label

Nothing to Decode. Ever.

We made an electrolyte the slow way, with coconut water and real fruit. Not “natural flavors.” Not stevia.

Taste the difference

Real Fruit Tastes Like Real Fruit. That’s the Surprise.

Mineral Mist Strawberry Sunrise bag and drink next to a breakfast plate

Our strawberry tastes like strawberry, because it is. Lighter, a little tart. Salt first, fruit second.

If “natural flavors” drinks are your reference, real fruit tastes different at first. That’s the point.

Most people settle in fast. In our reviews, 20 people described getting used to the taste, and 19 of them gave it 4 or 5 stars. 7 said how long it took. All 7 said about a week or less.

Best clean electrolyte I’ve ever tasted

I have been looking for the best clean electrolytes for a long time now I have tried many different brands and this is by far my absolute favorite. The flavors are real and they’re not too strong and I absolutely love that there’s no Stevia or added sweetness. The strawberry just tastes like you crushed up some strawberries and mixed it in with your drink. I feel really good after drinking it too!

FINALLY! No stevia in sight.

FINALLY! An electrolyte without all the fake “healthy” ingredients and fillers. I love all the subtle flavors - all super light. But the strawberry is my favorite. You taste the real food in it. 10/10 will recommend.

How Does It Taste?

Earthy. Slightly savory. Tastes like real food, because it is.

Coming from a sweet mix? Give it a few days. Most people tell us it clicks within the first week, once their taste buds reset from candy-sweet drinks.

Elemental Coconut. Clean and mineral-rich, with a little natural sweetness from coconut water.

Lemon Squeeze. Bright, tart, crisp. Like biting into a real lemon.

Strawberry Sunrise. Smooth berry from real strawberries with a real salty edge. Nothing added to cover it up. No stevia aftertaste, no red dye.

Grapefruit Lime. Sharp lime, bitter grapefruit, a clean edge of sea salt. Tart, not sweet. The way citrus tastes before anyone rounds it off.

Berry Sweet. Raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and tart cherry, with lime to keep the finish clean. Our one lightly sweetened flavor: 2g of organic cane sugar per serving. Still no stevia, no monk fruit, no "natural flavors."

A NOTE ABOUT REAL FOOD:
Mineral Mist won't dissolve like the synthetic stuff. It might settle at the bottom. You might need to shake it twice. The color won't be neon. The sweetness won't hit you like candy.

That's not a flaw. That's what real food looks like in a glass.

Lab-made powders dissolve perfectly because they're engineered to. Ours comes from coconut water, sea salt, and actual fruit. Real food plays by different rules.

Give it a shake. That little bit of settling? That's how you know there's nothing in there making it perform for the camera.

How To Take

Add your recommended amount to 8 to 10 oz of water, stir well, and drink. Most people have 1 to 3 servings a day.

Your exact amount is printed on your pouch. It's usually about 2 teaspoons, but it shifts a little by flavor since we use real food, not a lab formula.

No plastic scoop included. We left it out for the same reason we left out the artificial stuff.

The NO-List

NO "Natural Flavors". Under FDA rules, one "natural flavor" can be a blend of flavor compounds, and the solvents and carriers mixed in don't have to be listed. We use real fruit instead.

NO Stevia, Monk Fruit, or Sugar Alcohols. No sucralose, no erythritol, nothing zero-calorie standing in for fruit. Four of our five flavors have 0g added sugar. Berry Sweet has 2g of organic cane sugar, and it's on the label.

NO Maltodextrin. A processed starch used as a filler. It doesn't count as sugar on the Nutrition Facts panel, so a mix can carry it and still say zero sugar.

NO Artificial Dyes. No Yellow 5, Red 40, or Blue 1. The color comes from the fruit, which is why it's never neon.

NO Preservatives. No sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate. That's why we ask you to finish an open bag within 3 months.

NO Anti-Caking Agents. No silicon dioxide or magnesium silicate. That's why it clumps. The clumps are real fruit.

NO Fillers. No rice flour, microcrystalline cellulose, or other bulking agents.

NO GMOs. Every ingredient is non-GMO.

NO Proprietary Blends. Every ingredient is listed, in order, on every bag.

What's NOT in your electrolyte matters as much as what is.

What Label Readers Say

Great hydration product!

Fabulous product-Love this! It has a great taste and it’s not sickening sweet. Every hydration packet I researched was loaded with sweetness, i.e., sucralose, stevia leaf, stevia extract, monk fruit or some other sweetener. And, let’s not forget “natural flavors”!

I won't go back to electrolytes with Stevia and Natural Flavors!

Delicious! Refreshing lemon without the sugary, or stevia aftertaste. The cleanest ingredients. No sweet taste, just refreshing, slightly salty, fruity taste. If you want sweet electrolytes this is not for you but it's better! Have it cold with ice.

Madelyn W · UNTAMMED customer
Very nice!

I have been looking for an electrolyte supplement for a while. Found this, very impressed. More so that it does not have natural flavors, stevia or monk fruit (which taste like fake sugar to me). It has a nice, light, slightly lemon/salt taste. I am planning on getting the Strawberry next and then subscribe. Thank you for creating an electrolyte supplement without all that JUNK.

Great morning hydration I feel great about

I take my electrolytes right when I wake up with unflavored creatine and a few drops of chlorophyll. It is how I like to rehydrate myself and prep for the day. Since this drink is the first thing I consume after waking up, I want it to be as clean as possible. It is so hard to find electrolytes without monk fruit and stevia and some companies are misleading in their marketing. I actually ordered from another company who on their website said they only used freeze dried fruit to sweeten the flavor but when I got the pack it had both monk fruit and stevia in fine print on the ingredient label. While, I do not have a medical reason as to why I don't want either of those, some people do. So happy I found UNTAMMED after that experience! I really like the strawberry and lemon flavor. Since I drink them first thing in the morning, I actually like that they are less sweet and have a softer, more refreshing flavor! Fake fruit punch or pink lemonade flavor is not what I crave in the morning.

Salty not sweet!

I love this. My husband doesn’t like it but I love how natural it tastes and is. I was looking for something without citric acid, flavorings and stevia. I like that it’s slightly salty and not sweet. I can’t stand sweet electrolyte drinks. This is the perfect amount of strawberry flavor. Now I want to try the other flavors! This is my new morning ritual :)

Finally electrolytes I can feel good about

I've tried so many electrolyte powders and they all have stevia, monk fruit, or some weird additives. This is literally just real food. Me and my kids drink it every day, even my picky 4 year old loves the strawberry. We're obsessed.

Audrey Belfort · UNTAMMED customer
My whole family loves this!

Love how clean the ingredients are, just clean hydration. The lemon flavor is my favorite. 10/10 recommend to every mom who's tired of reading ingredient labels and cringing! 🙌

You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answers.

Are natural flavors bad for you?

Natural flavors are legal and regulated, and we’re not here to tell you they’ll hurt you. We left them out because you can’t see what’s in them. We’d rather name every flavor ingredient on the label.

Do you use any extracts?

Yes, and we name them. Strawberry Sunrise and Lemon Squeeze use lemon extract. Grapefruit Lime and Berry Sweet use lime extract. Each one sits on the label next to the fruit itself. Elemental Coconut uses none. No umbrella terms.

Why does it taste lighter than other mixes?

Because the flavor is the fruit itself, with no sweetener on top. Salt comes first, fruit second. For your first few glasses, try a little less powder or a little more water.

Why is there sugar in it?

Coconut water and fruit carry a little natural sugar: 2 to 3.8g per scoop, with 0g added in four flavors. Berry Sweet has 2g of organic cane sugar. A little natural sugar helps your body absorb sodium and water.*

How do I mix it?

Add 1 3/4 to 2 teaspoons to 8 to 12 oz of water. Stir or shake. That’s it.

What if I don’t like it?

Send it back. First-time buyers get a full 30 days, every dollar returned. No hoops.
