Your Electrolyte Says “Natural.”
Your Stomach Might Disagree.
Stevia. Monk fruit. “Natural flavors.” One of them is on the back of almost every best-selling electrolyte. If yours leaves a bitter aftertaste or a stomach that feels off, you’ve probably blamed everything but the packet.
Ours has none of the three. The whole back of the Strawberry Sunrise bag: organic coconut water, sea salt, organic strawberry, inland sea concentrate, organic lemon juice, lemon extract.
It Can Take Months to Connect the Two.
You switched brands. You blamed the coffee, the stress, the salad. You never blamed the packet that said “natural” on the front.
“I went for months with gut issues not attributing it to my electrolyte powder. As soon as I stopped all got better. So frustrating to go through that.”
Stevia and monk fruit don’t agree with every stomach. For some people, they may cause bloating or an upset stomach. In our ad comments alone, 12 people have told us stevia or monk fruit bothers theirs.
“I’m glad it comes plain without any monk fruit, because it causes digestive issues. Which is what makes it challenging to find an electrolyte I can tolerate.”
“Stevia wrecks my stomach. It is frustrating the amount of products it is in.”
“Finally a product that is truly clean that is a decent price. I have recently taken to making my own hydration drink because stevia, monk fruit, natural flavoring are bad for my gut.”
“Stevia and monk fruit bother my stomach and they both taste awful.”

Salty First, Slightly Sweet.
No stevia or monk fruit means it won’t taste like the packet you’re used to. Salt first, fruit second. Real strawberry, real lemon.
Most people settle in fast. In our reviews, 20 people described getting used to the taste, and 19 of them gave it 4 or 5 stars. All 7 who said how long it took said about a week or less.
I was looking for a good electrolyte option without stevia and all the other stuff I don't need. Untammed is exactly that. I ordered Strawberry Sunrise, and it's true that it tasted odd when I first tried it, just as they said it might. Most of us aren't used to drinking anything without added sweeteners or syrups. But by the time I mixed up my second cup, I found I really enjoyed it. Better yet, I feel hydrated, and my whole body can feel the difference. I'm about to order the coconut and try it out, but I believe I'm sold. I just cancelled my subscription with the brand I used to drink.

How Does It Taste?
Earthy. Slightly savory. Tastes like real food, because it is.
Coming from a sweet mix? Give it a few days. Most people tell us it clicks within the first week, once their taste buds reset from candy-sweet drinks.
Elemental Coconut. Clean and mineral-rich, with a little natural sweetness from coconut water.
Lemon Squeeze. Bright, tart, crisp. Like biting into a real lemon.
Strawberry Sunrise. Smooth berry from real strawberries with a real salty edge. Nothing added to cover it up. No stevia aftertaste, no red dye.
Grapefruit Lime. Sharp lime, bitter grapefruit, a clean edge of sea salt. Tart, not sweet. The way citrus tastes before anyone rounds it off.
Berry Sweet. Raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and tart cherry, with lime to keep the finish clean. Our one lightly sweetened flavor: 2g of organic cane sugar per serving. Still no stevia, no monk fruit, no "natural flavors."
A NOTE ABOUT REAL FOOD:
Mineral Mist won't dissolve like the synthetic stuff. It might settle at the bottom. You might need to shake it twice. The color won't be neon. The sweetness won't hit you like candy.
That's not a flaw. That's what real food looks like in a glass.
Lab-made powders dissolve perfectly because they're engineered to. Ours comes from coconut water, sea salt, and actual fruit. Real food plays by different rules.
Give it a shake. That little bit of settling? That's how you know there's nothing in there making it perform for the camera.
How To Take
Add your recommended amount to 8 to 10 oz of water, stir well, and drink. Most people have 1 to 3 servings a day.
Your exact amount is printed on your pouch. It's usually about 2 teaspoons, but it shifts a little by flavor since we use real food, not a lab formula.
No plastic scoop included. We left it out for the same reason we left out the artificial stuff.

The NO-List
NO "Natural Flavors". Under FDA rules, one "natural flavor" can be a blend of flavor compounds, and the solvents and carriers mixed in don't have to be listed. We use real fruit instead.
NO Stevia, Monk Fruit, or Sugar Alcohols. No sucralose, no erythritol, nothing zero-calorie standing in for fruit. Four of our five flavors have 0g added sugar. Berry Sweet has 2g of organic cane sugar, and it's on the label.
NO Maltodextrin. A processed starch used as a filler. It doesn't count as sugar on the Nutrition Facts panel, so a mix can carry it and still say zero sugar.
NO Artificial Dyes. No Yellow 5, Red 40, or Blue 1. The color comes from the fruit, which is why it's never neon.
NO Preservatives. No sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate. That's why we ask you to finish an open bag within 3 months.
NO Anti-Caking Agents. No silicon dioxide or magnesium silicate. That's why it clumps. The clumps are real fruit.
NO Fillers. No rice flour, microcrystalline cellulose, or other bulking agents.
NO GMOs. Every ingredient is non-GMO.
NO Proprietary Blends. Every ingredient is listed, in order, on every bag.
What's NOT in your electrolyte matters as much as what is.

Here’s What They Noticed.
Exactly what my wife and I have been looking for, for about 2 years. Ever since our old electrolyte powder added monk fruit, we’ve been in search of something with flavor but no added sweeteners. This is salty with a hint of sweetness in the background, which is exactly what we want. Hoping to try other flavors soon!
Love these electrolytes. Most electrolytes give me a massive stomach ache because of the added sweeteners and other ingredients like maltodextrin. I never get a stomach ache from these and feel hydrated after drinking them. Simple but effective
Loved this flavor so much. So refreshing and light. Doesn’t hurt my stomach like a lot of other electrolytes with synthetics sweeteners. So happy that I found Untammed!!
It's a bit tart at first, but once you get used to the flavor, it's really good. I've tried other electrolytes with stevia and monk fruit, and both made me really nauseous, but I have 0 side effects from this one (aside from good ones, like better sleep!). A touch of sugar wouldn't hurt (real, normal sugar), but I can always add that myself.
I've tried so many electrolyte powders and they all have stevia, monk fruit, or some weird additives. This is literally just real food. Me and my kids drink it every day, even my picky 4 year old loves the strawberry. We're obsessed.
I had been looking for good tasting electrolytes without cane sugar, artificial sweeteners, or stevia and I was so happy to discover Untamed Mineral Mist. The Lemon Squeeze tastes super simple, just like a squeeze of lemon, and that’s why I love it. No sugar crashes or stomach issues.
This is the best tasting electrolyte powder I’ve tried! I can’t do the ones with stevia etc. anymore. It’s so easy to add to water everyday & make a habit.

You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answers.
What’s wrong with monk fruit?
Nothing is wrong with the fruit. Our issue is what happens between the fruit and the packet: the sweet compounds get pulled out and concentrated until they’re 100 to 250 times sweeter than sugar, and some monk fruit sweeteners are mostly erythritol. We’d rather let real fruit and coconut water do the work.
Isn’t stevia natural?
The plant is. We’re not anti-nature, we’re anti-process. The stevia on most labels is one compound, purified to 95% or more. We’d rather use fruit you can recognize.
Why is there sugar in it?
Coconut water and fruit carry a little natural sugar: 2 to 3.8g per scoop, with 0g added in four flavors. Berry Sweet has 2g of organic cane sugar. A little natural sugar helps your body absorb sodium and water.*
Why does it taste salty?
Because nothing is covering up the salt. Each scoop has 595mg of sodium from sea salt. For your first few glasses, try a little less powder or a little more water.
Why are there little bits floating in it?
That’s real freeze-dried fruit. A few bits may not fully dissolve, and the strawberry seeds settle at the bottom. Give it a stir or a shake.
Is it tested?
Yes. An outside lab tests our finished powder for heavy metals and microbes. The reports for Strawberry Sunrise, Lemon Squeeze and Elemental Coconut are posted on our product page.
